Just a thought, Richard – my experience living down the road from a quarry in NY state: - they used to blast regularly. The earthquakes we have had in the last few years here in California are nothing compared to the blastings which shook our little house, and knocked books from the shelves. We now live close to the San Andreas Fault north of San Francisco and the tremors we’ve had are nothing compared to the rocking and shaking when they blasted. Nobody told us when we moved there that Trap Rock Corp. was just down the road and actively blasting and digging. The land nearby was a mess, just scarred earth and piles of sand and gravel, an eyesore and certainly detrimental to land values. These are some of the things you might mention on your site. If you want to mention my name – go ahead, you have my permission. I don’t think the quarry moguls will bother me. BTW, I still had ‘libertyquarryfacts.com’ open – and by mistake I clicked on their email and sent them the above message, 8>) I guess they’ve figured out that they have a problem, and my little love letter will just be an underscore.
